Every year had a difference. We cannot do the same as last year and we cannot replicate what we did last year. But did the lenten season this year and the other past years the same? Did the pandemic also changed the lenten season?

Lent is the period of 40 days which comes before Easter in the Christian calendar. Lenten season was celebrated annually, during the month of february or march, until the month of april. This year had a big difference, some traditions had change, some events or activities was cancelled just to avoid the spreading of the virus. The only event that was being celebrated this year is the attending of the mass, and the palm sunday. However, we need to follow the protocols that we need to wear face mask, and maintain social distancing.

We cannot escape the reality that we are facing right now. Just prayers is our shield, and discipline is our weapon. Vaccine isn't the real weapon to reach success. If we want to celebrate lenten season just like before, we needed a discipline and prayers to end this pandemic.
